Friend of no notes Lauren Cerand passes along news of this project: A German filmmaker traveling around the U.S. looking for “1000 stories.” (A U.S. filmmaker will do the same in Germany). Details:
During their month-long journeys, each filmmaker will write about his experiences, collect stories, and conduct interviews, posted daily as a video weblog, or “vlog,” at 1000stories.com . Their route will be determined by interested folks in the U.S. and in Germany who reply to their “Americans wanted”/ “Germans wanted” online ad. Readers are invited to get in touch via 1000stories.com to suggest itineraries and potential interview candidates and to comment on the project.
Lauren thought it would be cool for some NOLA involvement, and I agree. So if you’re there and interested, here’s the site. (It says “Americans Wanted,” and I while I know that New Orleans is a place apart, just play along, okay?)
